Our office understands that the practice of complex litigation requires us to stay on top of the doctrine and jurisprudence related to the issues we specialize in. Our lawyers have studied in the best universities in Chile and abroad, allowing the firm to achieve this goal with excellence. This academic background has allowed our team to have an active participation in the legislative agenda, either counseling or leading the legislative process in relevant bills, such as such as the current Law 20,393 on criminal liability of legal entities or the Draft Criminal Code. Currently, some members of the team are advising Congress on the Bulletin No. 13205-07, a project which establishes an autonomous criminal statute for economic crimes and improves and extends the scope of criminal liability for legal entities.
